We knew the weather was going to be a bit chilly during our trip, but we didn't mind. We dressed in layers to enjoy our time in the sand. In fact, I think Colin liked the sand more because he didn't have to have too much exposed skin touching the sand. At first, we took him out without his shoes. However, he did not like the sand on his feet. He kept picking his feet up very high with each step, and he wouldn't let go of my hands. Once we put his shoes back on, he was all over the place. He doesn't seem to like getting messy (haha!).
Ella loves the sand and water no matter what the season! She could live at the beach! She loves to play in the sand, throw seashells back into the ocean, run around, and explore. It is so fun to see her in her element. Colin ended up having a great time too; it just took him a bit longer to get used to the uneven sand.
